Over the summer, Widdis Racing driver, Bret Widdis, broadened his fan base overseas to Japan.

Akiko Nagao, a 14 year old Labo member from Fukuoka, Japan, in coordination with the 4-H Travel Club, was able to witness America for the first time this summer. She completed her one month stay in Manistique on August 18th.

During her stay she was able to witness Big Springs, Fayette State Park, and many other local attractions. Her most exciting adventure, however, was the trip to Norway Speedway to cheer on the Manistique driver, Bret Widdis.

We all wish Akiko a happy and prosperous future.
