The roaring, the
laughing, the cheering, and the checkered flags will soon
become familiar to the Widdis Racing team once again! In just
four short days the new 2003 racing season will be kicked off
at Norway Speedway, the premier racing facility of the Upper
Peninsula.
Norway
undoubtedly surpasses all competitors in the U.P. as the
leader in Upper Peninsula racing. With a great fan turnout and
great racing, Norway Speedway has the best racing the Upper
Peninsula and possibly the state of Michigan have to offer.
Norway Speedway track promoter, John Ostermann, has recently
stated in a news release on the track's website:
www.norwayspeedway.com, "Our average car count was 166 cars a
night. I have not found a track anywhere in the United States
that has a weekly car count like that." Please visit the
track's site to find out more about the track's great
features, drivers, and fans.
With a new car, a
new paint scheme, a new truck, and a new trailer the Widdis
Racing team definitely still has one thing they've owned from
the very beginning: skill. And skill will once again catapult
the famous team into stardom as Bret Widdis races his new 1997
Oldsmobile Cutlass into victory lane for the first time!
Time trials begin
at 6:15 while racing begins at 7:30. Look for the Widdis
Racing number 15 in the Sierra Mist Late Model division! On
behalf of www.widdisracing.com we all hope you can join us in
brining in the new racing year this Friday
night! |
