Bret Widdis, driver of the number
15 Pontiac Grand Prix, once again showed his dominance at
Thunder Valley Raceway near Marquette, Michigan. On a
blisteringly hot Sunday afternoon Widdis would find himself
fast qualifier once again. He would go on to win his heat race
by nearly a half lap to second place Allen Yelle. The feature
race was identical to the heat race as Widdis would pull away
quickly and dominate the field once again. He would lead the
field to the checkered flag in an impressive victory.
Sunday June 26, 2005 at Thunder Valley Raceway was all
Bret Widdis. When asked about his impressive afternoon Widdis
calmly replied, “It was extremely hot out there and I took
home some victories. What else can you ask for? I love this!”
Bret’s next appearance will be at Norway Speedway this
upcoming Friday July 1, 2005. The following day Widdis will
make an appearance in the annual Manistique 4th of July
Parade.
