Manistique, MI - There
has been an addition to the Widdis Racing team in the last
week. A 4-cylinder racecar is the newest venture for the team.
When discussing the addition in a quick interview Bret Widdis,
driver of the number 15 Pontiac Grand Prix, smiled and said,
"If this keeps up, we are going to need an addition to the
garage!"
In the same interview,
when asked if the car would be ready for "opening day" at
Norway Speedway or Thunder Valley Raceway, Widdis replied,
"Well first off, as of right now, the plans are to keep the
car at Thunder Valley and in one piece. As for being ready,
the date hasn't officially been made for the completion of the
car. I wouldn't like to speculate on that just
yet."
He ended in officially
stating the slated drivers for the car in the 2004 season.
"Jared Patz, Don Erickson, and I will all be racing the car
throughout the year. It should be a load of fun!"
